As students enter their third year, the level of instruction from the teacher reaches a higher level. The student’s English level also grows. The students learn the simple conversational patterns and the grammar target of that month, expanding their ability. In addition, students learn vocabulary and phrases from story books given to them. The students also read the books in class. Each month, children are taught English revolving around a common theme. Then, an out-of-school field trip dealing with that theme reinforces the lesson and lets them try out their English practically.

- Partnered with Mitsuba Kindergarten. Twice a month we visit Mitsuba Kindergarten for an exchange so MSP kids can experience a Japanese kindergarten.
- Twice a week, extra Curricular after school classes also available (Bilingual Club)
Children venture outside the class everyday, and have regular field trips
to practice their English in real life.
Giraffe class goes on field trips 2-3 times a month.
By leaving the classroom, children can try out what they’ve been learning in an actual situation and learn new phrases. Our aim is to have the children USING English rather than just LEARNING English.
Barring bad weather, children walk and play at the park near our school everyday, and occasionally have their lunch there. Students can enjoy the seasons and practice their vocabulary everyday.
Through these daily activities, kids learn simple social interactions, and see the need to be part of a group. While their bodies are growing, the kids learn about themselves and learn to communicate well with others, in English!
