The 25 staff and faculty of MSP dedicate themselves 100 percent to your child’s bilingual education. Our classes are formed with a native English speaker as the main teacher. In addition, our bilingual teachers also have a great deal of experience in English-langauge environments and speak fluently. Our nursery staff has lots of experience working at Japanese kindergartens and many have their own children. As of 2011, we have 4 Japanese staff with nusery school qualifications, 9 foreign teachers, and 13 Japanese bilingual teachers.

Miki Nakagawa

Graduate of Kyoto Foreign Language University. 8 years as school director at a large English conversation company. 2 years working at a major trading company in New York city. A master interpersonal communicater among children and adults. Moved to Matsuyama after marriage and opened the first early English education school. She is also the mother of 2 children.

Recently, the need for English education is getting higher following the rise in people working overseas, the inclusion of English in elementary school, and the proliferation of international preschools, the demand for bilingual education is growing rapidly, but unfortunately Japan’s current cumulative English level isn’t very high. However, small children’s ability to learn is limitless. For those mothers and fathers who would like their child to learn English in the same way as a native child, and believe in the promise of their child’s future, please visit us at MSP.

The head teacher of Giraffe class, 8 years experience teaching Japanese children. Father of two. The best sportsman at MSP and proficient at Judo.

The aim of the Giraffe Class is teach the children to move beyond basic phrases and encourage them to create their own sentences and expand on everything they have learnt. Achieve a competency of English where the children feel confident speaking not only with the teachers but each other in a natural play environment. Continue buiding their reading ablity so as not only provide a valuable learning experience but also a highly enjoyable one.

Spent 10 years in America teaching SCUBA diving. 10 years experience teaching Japanese children. Father of two. The head of Koala and Rabbit class.

In the Koala Class, I will “plant the seeds” of English in kids under 2 years old. I will introduce them to an English environment and make them able to respond to simple English requests as well as enjoy time with their mothers. In the Rabbit Class, I hope to bring the children to the next level, to start using the English they have learned to begin expressing themselves.

The prime operative underlying my English teaching pedagogy is a core belief that I teach others in order that they can learn to teach themselves. In support of this belief, the goal of my teaching will be to identify a student's sense and level of the English language and to derect and facilitate his or her classroom praxis in sucha way that they will mature into a self directed linguist. To implement this goal I will consistently work to establish a lively, meaningful, interactive, and of course FUN classroom enviroment in which I can develop a positive relationship with my students, thus increasing their desire to learn English.

My main objective in the After Rabbit Class is to build upon the knowledge base gained in Rabbit Class and develop student confidence for applying English to their daily lives. I hope to guide students in a nurturing environment so that they may reach their full potential as English speakers. I believe this goal is best achieved through active student participation in an engaging environment as well as consistent praise and encouragement.

Being with kids makes my life so wonderful! Kids have more interests in learning foreign language if they feel confident. Many children fear of making mistakes. They are shy and are not outspoken at all. My main aim is to be stimulating rather than entertaining. I will do my best to build their confidence, stimulate their interests and make my lesson joyful.

It’s my aim to have the kids speak entirely in English and be able to read picture books by the time they graduate. I’d also like the kids to learn various phrases through rolle plays.

Rabbit class is the class for 2 year old children independent from their mothers. Though some children become nervous being in a group for the first time, they can make friends with their teachers and their classmates at MSP, and then they are able to play with them and study naturally using English. I would like to pay attention to children’s individuality and their development, and help them to be able to enjoy English without worry.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing a child who can’t read the ABCs become skilled at reading in a flash by using phonics. The ultimate aim of reading class is for children to be able to read and enjoy Englihs books they like. What a wonderful world awaits the child who loves reading English!
